March 11, 20224 yr On the plus side, our over weight 3rd string catcher could yield us a bullpen arm now.
March 11, 20224 yr I am so sad we won't get to watch .136 batters anymore... Pitchers batting was the dumbest thing ever

March 11, 20224 yr Fun trivia answer -- last pitcher to bat (at least in the pre-universal DH era)? Kendall Graveman
March 11, 20224 yr Buehrle gets the love (rightfully) for the HR, but Matt Albers' double and celebration will always hold a special place in my heart. https://www.mlb.com/cut4/white-sox-pitcher-matt-albers-hits-double-and-has-hilarious-reaction-c181541836 https://img.mlbstatic.com/mlb-images/image/private/t_16x9/mlb/w5o8cxzivtbqakqphj0h.mp4 Other than that, good riddance to pitchers hitting.

March 12, 20224 yr I know people who pretend to enjoy watching pitchers hit and I simply never believed them.
