I wonder if this injury affects the trade market for Manaea. Mets need SPs again.

  • Huge news...Kimbrel spotted near the Dodgers Spring Training complex.

  • Yes. Sox would forfeit like the 65th pick, the bonus pool amount associated and $500K in international space. They should be willing to do it though.  This offseason hasn't been a good one for

Yeah, but supply and demand. Manaea is the best arm available on a rental deal.

I think something like Burger as the main piece and Adolfo as a throw-in would be fine. I struggle to come up with a 2nd piece that I'm willing to trade but leaning toward Thompson or Dalquist. Maybe Burke.

If the A's had a big offer, they would have already taken it.  They wanted to burn this down all winter, and aren't waiting around to do.

Yup, Manaea is just not the type of pitcher to command a ridiculous haul as a rental.

That didn’t take long.  Is it serious?

I watched the Hahn presser from earlier. It sounds like Sheets isn’t going to be traded. Maybe Burger, Adolfo and another player will be included in the deal for Manaea?

You can't take anything Hahn says at face value. Of course they are dangling Sheets.

That's gonna be a theme for him the rest of his career I bet.

Probably didn’t have much else to do during the lockout but good for him

I'm bored.. Here's my lineup:

1. Anderson

2. Robert

3. Abreu

4. Eloy

5. Grandal

6. Moncada

7. Vaughn

8. Pollack

9. Harrison/Leury

There really is no good way to balance this lineup IF Moncada can't turn back to 2019.

This is why I wanted Schwarber so badly. He'd look fantastic in the middle of that lineup.

Yeah, he'd look great offensively. But my goodness would that D be horrible.

I would line them up like this, but I doubt it happens.

  1. TA
  2. Moncada
  3. Robert
  4. Abreu
  5. Grandal
  6. Eloy
  7. Vaughn
  8. Pollack
  9. Harrison/Leury

I'd be fine with Moncada if he can maintain a .365 OBP.  I want nothing to do with Grandal over Eloy though... Eloy very well could be our best pure hitter.

I was just trying to break up the righties.  I'm not the biggest fan of Yaz batting in the middle of the lineup.

If Eloy is our best pure hitter, he needs to flip with Abreu.

Yaz post injury from last season can have that spot.

I know everyone is going to be thrilled about it.
