On a pitch from our very own Steve Cishek. Buck got all hot and bothered, benches cleared, and Cishek eventually got tossed.

6 no-hit innings for Manaea so far in his Padres debut. I wonder what the trade package to land him would have ultimately looked like.

Should have done it, whatever it was.

I can't decide if it was more frustrating missing out on him or that the Sox backed themselves into a corner where it was him or bust to upgrade at SP

Agreed, I just don’t view anyone (besides Colas and Vera) as anywhere close to untouchable.  I thought he would have gone for more than he did.

Lindor was the 4th Met hit in 2 days, the 2nd hit near the face.  Understandable why Buck was hot.

Certainly, but that they kind of waited around and talked about tossing Cishek was kind of silly. If you’re gonna toss him toss him.

If Cishek was trying to hit someone, he wouldn't have hit him.

7 k's but a run scored on a wild pitch after runner got to second on a throwing error then advanced on the first WP.

50 pitches through 3.

Gets former teammate Avi Garcia for #8.

9 k's and one hit through 4.

Dunning surrendered 3 runs through 5 to that insane Toronto offense.
