Too early to judge sprint speed honestly. You need a sample of actual running before judging it.

Exactly, That's why I didn't take anything from it. Home to first might be useful but that isn't on statcast yet.

Can't believe they're pitching Velazquez for the home opener. At least Keuchel is a name.

Eloy gets such a big pass for wildly underachieving expectations that other guys on the team don't receive

The less Grandal catches the better.

Would put Garcia out there and Burger in at 3B

Not sure it's a move that a TLR would make with a rookie 3B but it makes the most sense to improve three positions simultaneously.

They both suck.

Kelenic would be talked about as a sleeper MVP candidate if he had a career wRC+ of 111

Strange take

An insurance run right here would be great. I don't feel great about early season Liam.

Please score a run so I don't have to be sweating profusely through the 9th.

Definitely could use an insurance run here given Hendriks’ propensity to give up HRs at times

Gonna be tough against this guy.

The frustrating thing is that Hendriks HR problem seems to be self induced more often than not. Usually it's cause the hitter knows he's getting a fastball.

ump is ready to go home.

Way to take that slider

Quality AB from Robert

If he starts taking those pitches....

Also, here comes a DP if they don’t run him

Great take by AB. May have seen five balls there, but certainly four! Wouldn't mind seeing a SB attempt here

Torrens is so pulling a Haase, isn’t he?

Just don't blame it on the Padres trading Brash, France and Torrens to SEA.?

GREAT at bat by Robert. He likely swings at that last year and 2 years ago.

Credit to Vaughn for developing into a defensive plus.

He's insanely versatile in the field.  It's one of the reasons I don't want to trade him.

Unfortunately, when Hendriks gives them up, they're usually no doubters.

If Luis can take pitches like that he's gonna have a monster year.

Safe!

Robert steals 2nd

ROBERT! hell yea.

Robert is an alien lol

God I fucking love Robert…all around stud.
