Vaughn looks pissed that the ball barely grazed him.

Yeah, I would think there was no intent on that.

If you wanted rest for the stars, pull them in inning 3 of game 1 and put them back in for game 2 and pound Guardian ass. It’s like we are managed by an absolute fucking moron

  • The silver lining being it kept Keuchals innings low.

I think it got Vaughn's finger ,not his shoulder ,since he looked at his fingers.

just got that feeling sox managing is going to completely cost us this year.. again.

Any chance we get lucky and tomorrow gets ppd?

Better than 50/50...Windy with a steady rain in the morning. Showers continuing in the afternoon. High 59F. Winds SW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Higher wind gusts possible.

McGuire missed that by a foot

In on this late, but holy hell, what a fkin lineup…

They sure did their best to make it as non-explosive as possible this offseason.

This is a total bullshit lineup. Congrats on the sweep Cleveland.

Yeah not sure anyone should be getting the 2nd game off since none of them showed up for the 1st game.

Why not?  They have a better starting staff.

Because they're not a better team when both are at full strength as Jack said? It's April 20th. Almost nothing has changed from what we expected 10 days ago.

Engel swinging through an 88 MPH fastball right down the middle

Jose Ramirez is the best player on either team, and they have no problem playing him in both games.

This game is now a race against impending rain showers to get through the top of the 5th...

Arias keeps hitting the ball to the SS position...

I have noted all posts complaining about the lineup and rest assured I will be bringing these up with LaRussa whenever he calls me back. He has some explaining to do for sure

Robert is the only one that comes close...still more based on potential.

I guess we're not the Reds or A's?  Even the A's are playing with much more spirit against rivals with the underdog/written off team of all-time.

OK boys light 'em up !

Lambert seems fine when he doesn't face Jose Ramirez. This was the case in his start against Cleveland last year too.

For quarterly WBWSF letter?

Could be an addendum.

It's not going to rain very long.

Mendick has the slowest freaking bat.  Kinda pathetic we see him, Harrison and Garcia bat 9/1/3.

Well, the rule of days like these in Sox history pretty much require a roughly 2 hour 15 minute rain delay to add to the agony.

All we're missing is Ranger Rongey testily jousting with fans during a prolonged rain delay theatre.

And Haseley wasn't even hitting in Charlotte...

What are the odds this lineup gets no hit? That'd be the cherry on top of this shit baseball sundae.

Energetic swing and misses on fastballs down the plate.  It’s surprising that he’s struggling so much...not

Harrison gets to 3-0 and strikes out on 2 91 MPH fastballs in the zone.

This is just pathetic
