  • He has one of the best eyes in baseball, is your highest paid hitter, and the pitcher on the mound can't find the zone.  But @greg775 told me TLR is a great manager, it can't be debated!

TLR can straight go F himself. Leury in any spot but 8th or 9th shows the game has passed him by and we are not a world series caliber team with him as manager.

Ooo....good thing you're carrying all that water for TLR to put out the fire from that savage burn, Slavko.

Renteria won't make them hit any better, but I honestly feel like there's something going on in the clubhouse affecting the team. Ricky had his faults and he wouldn't be my choice to lead this team, but I think I'd take just about anyone over TLR at this point. For someone who is supposed to manage the clubhouse well and have his players ready to play, he's failing at both of those aspects right now. Throw in the weird infatuation with hitting Leury in the 2 and 3 spot and it's just too much for me.

Yeah the energy isn’t there. That’s starts with the manager. Atleast it seemed like Renteria brought that to the clubhouse. Not saying that we bring him back but if they go in a different direction maybe a younger manager would be better to inject some life into this team.

You sure seem to be right. This is a F***ing weird week.

Well nothing like emboldening the division to help them believe.

A few of us called this when they screwed up the offseason while some of the divisional rivals got better.  The injuries just accelerated this.

when you put it like that…..

It’s true though, Tony sucks but so do most of the players right now.  No one gets away with incompetence more than Hahn though.

I don't think any of us foresaw defense THIS bad. It's like the entire infield forgot how to field and throw because they got 2 days off.

No, we expected bad outfield defense.  This is sickening though.

I have no idea what to make of this. An entire infield can’t turn into Chuck Knoblauch just because two games got rained out in Cleveland without something else happening.

I think the players lost faith in their manager or there some kind of rift going on between management, the front office and ownership. There’s definitely something going on that’s causing a distraction.

Yeah that slider to Jeffers was bad, but the TA throw and Abreu's throw were way worse. Graveman made the pitch to get out of that inning and the defense fucked it up for him.

Sox are on Fox Sports tomorrow if you need to mix it up.

Might mix it up with some yard work in the afternoon...they are tough to watch right now...but I'm sure they'll suck me back in if I'm home.

That AJ's gig, right? I hope he rips TLR for his lineups.

Ozzie and Chuck wanted the post game reporters to ask TLR why he didn't pinch hit Grandal in the 9th.

I unfortunately have a wide open Saturday afternoon which means I will end up watching somewhere.  At least the weather's nice, I'll try to make it somewhere outside.

Supposed to be kinda crazy weather....80 degrees but 30 mph winds.

Chicago reporters are such fucking wimps. Cowley is the only one with guts.

Chuck was uncharacteristically blunt in his tweets on their performance today.  Dudes as much a homer as anyone, feels like this ship is close to tipping over.

Yep, they doubted that they would but they damn sure should have.  Can we get John Kass to interview LaRussa postgames?

I see they did ask...good.
