Hopefully Cueto can pitch better and Velasquez is more effective as a long man.  But I'd have no problem if they  released him.

Velasquez in the pen might makes sense but it’s a shame the team counted on him as a starter. If pitching wins games then the decision to not resign Rodon really makes zero sense. Too late now though

Is it really that much out of the question?  I don’t think a total rebuild happen, but building around Cease, Kopech, Robert and Vaughn makes a tiny bit of sense.   I know Tampa would be looking to trade Giolito, Yoan, Anderson and Grandal.

Yoan would be first guy gone

Burger looks clueless against RHP. Anything low and away and he swings at it.  Can’t wait for him to be a platoon player and face LHP.

Not sure how much surplus value there is. I think Giolito would be traded first.

He’s a rookie

Sure let's wake the Twins offense up.

They had scored 6 runs total in their last 4 games.

If the Twins can turn it around so can the Sox

Oh look, Timmy with his shitty half swing against righties again.  He really needs to ditch that awful adjustment.

Team looks absolutely lifeless.  Completely unacceptable this early into the season.

IIRC, he had massive splits last year as well.  I’m rooting for him, but he has no balance at the plate.

Serious question - when does the entire training staff get fired for these leg injuries?

His future salary and lack of production make him #1 to me.

Sox can let me know when they're gonna a start taking this season seriously.

I dont really know what la russa is good at to be honest. Guys go through the motions. He's bad strategically. Plays lesser players. Rests guys too often, injuries everywhere.

They would just be replaced in-house like everything else.

He did have massive splits in AAA, but just pointing out an adjustment period should be expected for him given where he’s at.

And seemingly sucks at advising Hahn on whom to sign

If they fall apart this won't be out of the question.  If he does a second rebuild then it's wait until the owner is in hell before this gets turned around

Guys talking about blowing it up and trading giolito are funny though

Why did Anderson get removed?

La russa benching tim. Lol

Unfortunately, we don't get to play the White Sox to get out of a funk like Minnesota.

Something just feels off as of late.  I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if there is some clubhouse beef with the players and La Russa.

I think LaRussa finally saw enough.

Although, he did run 90 feet.

Yep, and god help us if they leave these idiots in charge of it.

Did La Russa just bench Tim? He better be injured or this will not go over well.
