Why does Lucas always look like he just ran a marathon?

He's a sweaty dude, but he looked like a corpse in his first start back from COVID, and he said he felt it more this time, could just be from that.

I had what I'd consider a mild case in January and it def took a couple weeks to feel like something wasn't off.

Maybe the manager doesn’t have them prepared to play….

Eloy is the epitome of this team's failings.  Wildly inconsistent, too often unavailable and low baseball IQ.

are those strikes?

Where was that?

gazelle

I think Vaughn made that more difficult than it needed to be, but all's well that ends well

Lucas, out here doing Ace things.

thank god he caught that, jesus a good OF makes that easily.

lol yeah I was just thinking that Engel catches that standing up.

Fantastic performance from Lucas tonight. It was badly needed.

Hell of a job from Gio tonight.

Complete opposite of what I thought was going to happen.

Kopech and Gio are the Sox top 2.

Nice play AV.

Not sure why McGuire framed it vertically instead of horizontally

Watching Andrew field isn't enjoyable by any means, but he's been game to try anything

There can't be a lot of pitchers who have faced 26 batters in 6 innings and only given up 1 run.

No offense to Andrew, who is a helluva hitter, but he's not a RF. You can squint and see LF, then you squint some more and think 1B.

I bet we've created a few.

Lucas was pretty fortunate in the first 2 innings. Story and Devers smoked balls off him that ended up as outs.

In theory if Dylan is our #4 in a month, that's a great place to be in.

TBF, any positive result regarding the Sox is the complete opposite of what you thought would happen.

I squint and see a guy who should have been playing catcher from age 7.
