One team hits ball in air and occasionally it goes out of park.

Other teams pounds ball into ground and occasionally it finds its way to the outfielders

I think we win this.  Big Pollock game coming.     So if we go like 36-5 in our next 41 games that puts us at 62-32, 30 games over.

  • At this point you gotta just play your best players. The lefties and switch hitters have all been worthless. A platoon advantage doesn't do shit when the guys with the advantage can't get hits. In the

TLR is fucking brain dead. Shades of Ozzie's last year. edit: Just read his quote's on Andrew needing a day off after a "tough series on turf" -- dude, he just  had a day off Monday. He's 24 FFS. It's

He’s shown no signs of coming out of the slump.  Hell, I think his last extra base hit was a bunt.

The approach is there lately. I Think most of his issues early were approach related. He's not swinging at bullshit anymore.

He has one multi-hit game all season. He looks horrible

Richard Irvin for DH.

Yeah that ground ball he hit right to the 2nd baseman looked pretty good....lol

Because he’s an elite 3B. Moncada isn’t moving to 2B. This isn’t a video game.

Then people shouldn't complain about the lineups.  You can only play nine at a time.

His current exit velocity is actually lower than it was in 2020.

Archer Wacha Martin Perez

The Sox need to pull a Quintana or Esteban Loiaza out of their butts again.

Cueto has at least kept us around .500 and not 8-10 games under the underlying numbers would suggest.

3.71 ERA would be around #4 in most rotations.

Love these belt-high fastballs pounded into the ground.

Yeah, I know.

Grandal putting some weak hacks on meatballs

Grandal is just incredibly bad.  Both him and Yoan need to get on the juice.

For every pop up they owe Tony 30 push-ups

The Guardians might end up being the team we are chasing in the second half if their offense holds up and they actually make some positive additions at the deadline.

Seems fairly obvious

I'm not even exaggerating when I say that Grandal is not even close. He's missing these pitches by a foot

Vaughn is penciled in at 1b tomorrow per Kasper

Burger is pretty good. Tony should try to get him in the lineup every day.  What's his best position again?

Yep he’s totally finished. He will end up like Keuchel where the Sox release him in late May next year.

3B, but he can’t play there because the worst hitter in baseball needs to play there
