  • This is fucking stupid. Tony is reaching Trump levels where people want to blame him for literally everything.

  • well he did get hurt needlessly pitching in the 9th on Friday with a 5 run lead.

  • You do realize that Sousa was also warming up, right?   Instead he went with Hendriks with 5 run lead to save Sousa for a high leverage spot on Saturday, which he failed, and the Sox lost.

Maybe they were counting on not having to pay it all and let insurance cover it.

But then they’d only get about 60-65% back…?

Makes the Kimbrel move/s even stranger.

I hate all of these injuries!

It was a joke.

He's had it for 14 years and nothing about the ligament has changed. I'd say that is great news all around; not sure why it's turned doom and gloom here.

One thing that has changed is he cannot pitch right now.

Right.  Something has changed.  Dude has a tear in his UCL and is out  for three weeks with forearm strain.  I think there is plenty of reason to be concerned.

Muscles weaken with age, grips change now that there is no sticky stuff. There is reason for concern but not necessarily doom and gloom but that is the default setting for this board.

Wow, another IL player stint!

Something is seriously f'ing wrong with the training, strength and flexibility staff's philosophy and procedures in how to stay in shape and injury free. We've had way too many injuries' in the last two years to say it's bad luck, a jinx or an anomaly.

It all starts at the top with the POS Reinsdorf to Hahn and goes right down the line in the organization.
