Under the radar:  Martin is saving the hell out of the pen today.

TA should be back this weekend. You have to figure Mendick has played his way to a roster spot. Harrison is probably in his final days as a White Sox.

Let's hope the Burger situation is truly day to day and that we won't find out this weekend his hand had to be amputated.

Why do position players always just lob it?  Very rarely do you see one go up there and actually to try to pitch.

Seems like a new thing

Imagine being Roger Clemens and seeing your kid throwing 50 MPH in a MLB game. Personally, I'd be a little offended if I was him.

I was just wondering why these position players come in and throw 50 MPH soft balls. It must be just to get it over with.

Not hurt themselves also

It is finally warm enough for these guys to hit ?

Why bother hurting yourself and throwing 80 MPH? That's basically batting practice to major league hitters. The slower speeds mess with a lot of guys' timing and swing paths. In the end it's probably more effective to throw something these guys rarely see than actually try to throw hard and get destroyed on every pitch.

Is it though? They throw harder than that just warming up normally. Why wouldn't that work.

Let Martin finish the game.

Hes wearing down.. was throwing 97 earlier, then was at 94, and was 92 this inning.

You might not get to cause Leury really sucks against position players.

Well Leury gonna kill that chance

Leury will account for 3 of the 9 position player pitcher outs.

LMAO.,

Garcia with a K and double-play against position players.....can we release him because of this?

Lmao Leury

Garcia sucks

Jose is absolutely padding his stats against these guys

Of course I don’t get to watch the 1 good all around game the Sox play all season (don’t care if it was against the tigers)

Well not a cycle, but goddammit I'll take it!  Welcome back YoYo!

Lol poor Engel really in one right now.

Engel and Leury both went 0-fer against position players.

He was hitting pretty well and then TLR decided to not play him regularly over Sheets. He's been sucky ever since Sheets got sent down.
