  • I doubt it's coincidental that a top org in analytics claims players from an org. that is consistently a generation behind in analytics.

  • Can we all just agree that Yermin will get called up in time for the July 1 ~ July 3 trip to San Francisco and torch us for 8+ RBI across those 3 games, including a monster home run off of a position

That would be disrespectful to the game and the opposition.

They took Gonzalez and basabe from us recently as well. Win some, lose some

And Pederson of the 14 homers RF variety.

Yermin will somehow manage to contribute something.  That’s how the Giants roll.  He becomes a near Gold Glove level while slugging 850 ops catcher or something crazy like that.

I'm pretty confident Yermin will contribute to that team in some way.

Just how it goes for us. We would trade Moncada and hed stop getting hurt and put up an 8 war season.

I wish Yermin all the best.  I'd like to see him hit .400 with a 1.100 OPS.

Good luck to him

Yermin certainly got the short end of TLR's stick.

Giants will set him up with a few sessions with a Shrink, and he'll start hitting.

And Kapler’s self-help tomes.  He’ll probably lose 20-30 pounds, too.

Watch him actually contribute. The Giants have been great dumpster divers since Zaidi took over.

Good for Yermin.  Wouldn’t be surprised if SFG helped him make some adjustments at the plate and he became a solid DH contributor for them.

I wish him the best of luck. He won't be able to surprise anyone anymore. After the monster start pitchers found his weaknesses. It will be harder for him if he makes it back up.

They have had a lot more pitching injuries and still right there around 10 games over .500.

If SF is going to get something out of Yermin,  they need to fix him between the ears first.

And that's arguably the hardest thing to fix.

I actually think he's a legit bad clubhouse dude and I don't wish him well.

Be nice or he's quitting and going to Japan.

Yermin was a blast early last year and carried the offense when others weren't hitting.  Best of luck to him.

Amazing he survived on the 40 this long to be honest.

Yay, we can get Viciedo back instead…

should have just moved him for a PTBN long ago. Poor ass roster management on the edges of the 40 man imo. He burned the bridge to Chicago when he did his little "I'm quitting" shit. They never had any intentions of ever again using him in MLB.

I kept thinking he was close to some breakthrough.
