I understood what he said.  If that was 5 years from now and Montgomery sticks at ss why not him?

Fine. But we need to worry about 2023 first.

I am deeply truly sorry your precious volatile fragile feelings are so distraught at the mere suggestion that the team should remove a dreadfully underperforming manager.  Perhaps tis not myself that

  • Last time I remember being happy as a Sox fan.  (Not a coincidence, Tony wasn't there) FIRE TONY

  • The manager is the moron for playing a first baseman in right field.

Lucas giving sweaty Freddy competition out there.

between the early injury and covid hes a different dude this year

made ohtani look bad tho

Trout and Ohtani bailed Lucas out a bit by swinging at some really bad pitches out of the zone.

Lucas handled Trout + Ohtani as well as you possibly can right there. Great to see.

Great comeback for Lucas.

Lucas seems more comfortable/confident in his hometown environment.

There's just no way that Montgomery should be playing in Chicago next year unless they really rush him.

Then you're going to play him or Anderson at 2B or 3B?  Trade the best hitter in the AL to open SS?

No. You misunderstood me. You know the Sox, they hate to pay older players unless you’re a 33 or 34 year old relief pitcher. Who’s to say TA Doesn’t look for that big payday after his contact is up in a couple of years. I would never trade TA at this point  the hope is TA is here for the next 5 years, Sosa playing 2nd and Montgomery waiting in the wings

isn't that what good pitchers normally do? I'm sure both of those guys have ridiculous production on pitches in the zone.

Fastball command seemed better that first inning.

Syndergaard seems to be more of a pitch to contact guy this year and the Sox obliging to that gameplan.

We escaped the 1st with no damage. Miracles do happen

Just weird to see them not being patient and swinging at some nearly non competitive pitches.

13 pitches to retire 6 hitters so far for Syndegaard.

AJ has been swinging it well lately??  Are there some games I have missed  Steve because I don't remember that.

Pathetic start from the offense

14 pitches in 2 innings. Jesus Christ...

Fucking pathetic!!!

14 pitches in 2 innings.

God i hate this fucking team....

6up 6 down 14 pitches. Way to get into the Angels bullpen

At least the outs are in the air?

"we're grinding them out"
