The Sox need Robert to start hitting for power like Buxton does because he has it in him

Robert looks terrible in the field today.  Lazy.

I want to know why Buxton isn’t taking defensive swings on 0-0 counts

How does Luis not see that ball? 1-1 would be a lot nicer

Of course

449’. Woof.

Fuck you ump! Tony not doing shit about as Usual!

Today?

Like I said before I hate Arraez and Buxton.

Does Robert just have no range?  What a disappointing player.

Shhh, don't say the quiet part out loud.

Has there even been a major Sox prospect coming out of the rebuild that hasn't been disappointing in some way?

I think we killed the Twins last year cause we didn't face Buxton at all in any of the games we played against them. Buxton just absolutely kills us.

Vaughn for most of this year...otoh Madrigal has been a disaster for the Cubs as well.

The do-called core is in danger of melting down into scrap metal.

I'm sure Twins fans didn't spend years being frustrated with Buxton before he figured it out. Come on. There are very few Mike Trouts who come up and produce like superstars without any bumps in the road.

Robert has been playing lazy for weeks. Pito needs to sit him down and have a talk.

It’s going to come out that the training staff told Robert not to run in the outfield and that his contract states he doesn’t have to put in an effort on back to back games until 2025

His bat has been good, but Vaughn's been worth .3 war in 183 career games. Robert has been worth 6.2 WAR in 186 career games.

FWIW, I don't think those balls Arraez hit are routine plays with Robert playing as shallow as he was. But a good CF like Robert should have had both of those had he actually seen the ball off the bat.

Next team to homer wins the game.

Two different zones tonight. Not even funny

Maybe he needs vision correction surgery just like Lopez.

Did they tell him not to run 100% on defense too?

He is playing exactly like he laid down a bet on the Twins.

Holy shit Pollock sucks.  Another player that is swinging all upper body.  Hope they IL him when Eloy returns.

Menechino the 80's are calling.

Love to see the dogshit umpiring show up for the Minnesota series. Fucking brutal out there.

Pollock sucks but the ump has basically given him no chance up there.

But that's on Hahn for playing him so badly out of position...he has clearly been one of the three best hitters on the Sox this year.
