It'd also be nice if one of your big time starters didn't put you in a big hole in the first.

That goes without saying if you think of him as a big time starter instead of a guy starting his 6th game of the season after a long layoff.

Quantrill's control is questionable.

Also Eloy MURDERED a ball foul. Hope that's a good sign.

If he does, you trade him this winter.

He's got so much swing and miss that he's prone to half season slumps.

Good Yoan is the exact profile of player the Sox need more of. No thank you. The last 4 WAR 3rd basemen the Sox had prior to Yoan was Robin. I'm not interested in going back to dumpster diving at 3b again.

I'd expect better than 5 runs given up per game if he's actually healthy.

We're swinging at a bunch of crap this inning. Quantrill hasn't actually thrown a strike in the zone yet to Sheets and Eloy.

Quantrill has nothing. If the Sox don't swing at garbage, another blow up inning should come

Sinker the only pitch really working for Quantrill right now

He is, but they can't deal with his half season slumps anymore.

I think he was playing hurt. Let's see how the rest of this season unfolds.

Quantrill sucks. Light him up

Given how the Sox have handled 2B and RF why do you want to roll the dice here

Because I think this core is too flawed and they need to start over.

Don't stop now boys!!

5 - 4

5-4 now. AJ got robbed of extra bases

I think so too. See my previous post.

The Cubs and Blackhawks are closer to their next title than the Sox are simply because they've already made the decision to tear it down.

I think last season is the absolute ceiling for this group of core players.

Just don't ground into a double play Leury, you decrepit piece of crap

Sox just need a new manager and retool and they will be just fine

Need a big 2 out hit here .

Leury had some great pitches to hit.

On the positive side there, Leury did not GIDP.
