I think he was worried about the bullpen tomorrow…and gave away todays game

Its probably a mix of both, TLR is always thinking of 4 games from now and forgets to manage the game thats currently going on

When are we going to worry about the game at hand? And cross the tomorrow bridge when we get there. That’s the exact reason this club is in this position

this is what tony does more than any manager ive ever seen.

lose more games today so we can lose more tomorrow

its digusting

I don't think he was trying to save the bullpen. He was trying to give Lance Lynn a chance at a win if he holds them and the Sox score twice.

That's how Tony thinks, and has said as much on many occasions postgame. Same with saving Liam to get a Save.

Outside of Cueto, not too many guys quick to jump up off the bench to give Lynn some love.

We might have found our mole.

Lynn? The one and only guy who ever seems to give a rats ass on this team?

Fine, you got your starter to give you 96 pitches but he’s in serious trouble now don’t let this game get away.

It’s what happens when you take it for granted you’re a playoff team.

TLR is the only person on earth who didn't see an implosion coming. The perks of having a Hall of Famer in the dugout

At least have the guy ready to start the inning so that you don’t bury your starter.

Lynn was gassed after that stressful first inning. Getting 4 was all you could of hoped for from him tonight. I'm guessing he talked his way in to being let to go back out. Thats where the Manager has to be in charge and say no your done.

F TLR. I'm hating him more every game. Just please resign during the break.
