He was trying to give Lance Lynn a chance at a win if he holds them and the Sox score twice. That's how Tony thinks, and has said as much on many occasions postgame. I'm guessing he talked his way in to being let to go back out. Thats where the Manager has to be in charge and say no your done. F TLR. I'm hating him more every game.
