Anderson does some of the most stupid crap defensively

He makes so many bad plays that he doesn’t get an error for

  • Yet he still stays in the game. No wonder these assholes never learn, there’s no accountability unless you homer on a 3-0 pitch

  • Tim Anderson took that a bit too literally

  • Will be at this game too like last night  So far this year... Went to Boston - white sox won Went to Wrigley - white sox won Went to Colorado- white sox won Need to keep it go

Sox love to play down to the competition

The Sox have had issues tagging 2nd on double plays. Leury did something similar a week ago.

But can we get a third out against Bryant?

Now you gotta get Bryant...

Anderson is such a fucking headcase defensively. He'll never get over it.

Everything is mechanical, nothing is smooth, nothing comes naturally

Keep thinking this light will eventually flip on.

Still, can't hit for power, dumbass defense, dumbass base running, 2/3 of the rotation is very questionable, the bullpen is very questionable.

Why do we lie to ourselves?

Because in this division we just need the light to turn on in October.  If we were in any other division but the NL Central, we’d probably need to be selling right now.

This at bat is scary.

The guy didn't really grow up liking or playing baseball.

Maybe you need to write another post on Sox defense and fundamentals...

And he never, ever dives.  His effort on the Bryant single earlier in the game was pathetic.

thought that was out of here

Lucky

How was that not a homer? Terrible pitch.

over/under groundballs by Sox this inning: 1.5

Rockies basically trying to keep us in this game

Yeah I know, it really shows.

If Bryant isn't hitting that out, it's no wonder why he doesn't have a homer at Coors.

See Boston Red Sox...maybe the Phillies or Giants.

Long time to discuss this, but no way do you extend him with the idea of him sticking at SS into his mid-30s

Would have been better served flipping to second or just be sure to get the force out at 2 nd.  Dodged another bullet again.  The Rockies suck more than us.

All right, win this disgusting ball game please.

Bryant is a shell of the player he was in 2015-16

I will say that I don't know how many umps make that call at 2nd base when there's hardly any space between his foot and the base. Even if his foot slides into the base it counts as touching it. But he still should have flipped it Harrison
