  • What I love about Fire Tony is that he’s always trying to win tomorrow’s game.  We’re like 15 or 20 over .500 in winning tomorrow’s game today b

Was watching the end of the game last night as I was leaving my fiance's parents house. Yaz is awful behind the plate.

I'm mad they didn't score too, but I see what happened. A faster player could have still scored but not Jose.

Except Melendez was running in with the ball and would have taken too long to set up and make a proper throw esoecially if Abreu and McEwing were in concert on him going.

You can't have two consecutive outs without advancing runners there.

You just can't.

Abreu should have tagged up on the Sheets fly ball.  Royals LF wasn’t positioned to throw home. He thought it was the third out.  Our base running sucks. Also lineup with Yoan and Grandal back to back is not too hot.

White Sox and watching strike 3…

I am just going to disagree guys. The runner on third takes a lead in case it drops, when the runners sees its going to be caught, he goes back...which Jose did.

Then he slipped. Done.

Of course the Twins and White Sox are opposites about second half comebacks.

Only exception 2008.

Can’t be looking for offspeed with 2 strikes

Except that was pretty obviously right at Melendez...with a little bit of a run in.

Sox are going to end the season with no one hitting at least 20 homers, aren’t they?

Name a better love story. You can’t.

Abreu has 6 more in him but it might take until the last series of the year.

God help the Sox if they have to resort to giving away 10-15000 Benetti t-shirts in the middle of the championship window...

TLR & Leury is a close close 2nd

Continue to take far too many fastballs over the plate but chasing ones off

He was about 2 feet from the bag, how do you trip getting back.  When the ball is hanging in the air and you know it's bound to be caught you should already be on the base waiting for the catch.  Once the catch is made you start towards home trying to draw a throw.  In this case the LF was sleeping and a heads up base runner may have taken advantage of that and scored.

FART NOISES

Cy Bubic is just too tough for the Sox

The “approaches” at the plate couldn’t be more asinine and assbackwards, but they need a scape goat at season’s end…

This team can’t even hit LHP anymore.  And yes batting Yoan, Grandal and Sheets consecutively against LHP is a crime against humanity.

This just in...Cueto is much older than 95% of 25 man rosters today.
