If they lose today, that would be 4-2 stretch against two last place teams.  You cannot do that when you've dug yourself a hole like they did.

Memo to Liam and the rest of the veterans....play like you give a damn more than a couple of weeks in September.

Unfortunately, it's really tough to demand better than 4-2 against any set of teams. That's not something you can really be mad about, you have to be mad about the hole you're in.

It’s absolutely comical how much Karinchak cheats

Did you see the jomboy video with him getting his hair checked? After they checked him he went to his hair like 5 times before every pitch just to annoy Rocco Baldelli.

Yep, the Sox lost this division the first few months of the season.

They lost it in April when they got swept by the Guardians and Twins.

And a lot of the blame for that goes on Keuchel, TA, and La Russa.

He makes up his mind before each pitch what he’s going to try and do.  Just make him the 2nd hitter if he sticks around.

Is it the coaching/approach or has age caught up to Jose and he’s lost power? Unfortunately that’s a tough call…especially with the entire team lacking power #’s

I'd say they really dropped off the pace with that last losing streak and the sweep by the DBacks. Literally they were right there and that dropped them all the way back below .500.

You can point at any other spots earlier in the year and you're right, but both teams have played good baseball since then, but that's the hole they are in right now. Had they just played tolerable ball, they're like 0.5 games back right now.

Another inning with a man on 2B and we can't bring him in. We're 0-9 with RISP this game.

No clutch hitting whatsoever.  Abreu is getting hits mostly with bases empty.  Too impatient with RISP.  Lack of speed also hurts.  Many singles could be doubles with faster runners.
