Crochet is no way gonna be ready for the start of the season. He just had his TJ surgery in April 2022. Don't think he'll be back til All Star break at the earliest.

For now, I’d probably give Lopez a shot at closer and add Foster to the pen mix, just based on experience. I’m looking forward to seeing how Nick Avila pans out in spring training.

The pen is probably the group I have the most concerns about (other than the obvious overall health of everyone). Amazing how much of a difference it makes when you take Hendriks out.

Andrus in, Sousa DFA'd.

Most of the roster is set, the main decisions are:

1. Starting RF: Colas or Sheets. I think it'll be Colas.
2. 5th starter (Clevinger vs. Davis), depending on the outcome of the investigation
3. Last RP: Avila, Foster, Santos, or German. Avila has the edge due to being a rule 5.
4. Bench: Zavala and Leury are sure things, I'm going Romy and Sheets for the other two spots.

Romy and Leury combined can cover the infield and outfield. Sheets would be the backup 1B/DH where the starters are opposite-handed.
