Moncada now has just as many doubles this season as he had on July 1st last year.

I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to have our “normal” lineup out there so often. It’s fúcking great.

Can’t keep throwing Joc high fastballs

Wasn't high enough. If he threw it where he just threw it to Yaz he probably gets the K.

Looks like he's lost his control a bit.

Is this the too usual Kopech gets very lost before he bcomes unhittable again moment?

Kopech's slider looks different. It's more of a sweeper with downward movement than the cutter like slider he threw last year.

I was hoping he'd go with the slider under Pederson's hands  on 1-2 after the 1st ball was up and away out he did not.

sigh

Maybe.
Fastball looks like he's got a good amount of run to it when he wants.

Nice tight slider there.

Wow that almost got out...

Yikes that was close

For as good as he looked the first inning, he’s totally lost it. Two 91 mph fastballs this inning

Now Kopech's kind of lost it...

Right where he wants them.

So he was untouchable for about 5 minutes and all of a sudden he can't throw a strike

Looks like it's pouring out there now.  Hard to control with constant wet hands and wet balls?

I think pitchtrax is mislabeling his 91mph changeup as fastballs.

Yes, lets give hope to a team that looked completely lost in the first series of the season....complete 180 from the 1st inning.

Wonder if the slide step is messing with his velocity.

Adrenaline wore off

Seems like Kopech needs to learn a thing or two from Cease
