Fathom i agree with your disappointment for this series. I will say that watching these games the GIANTS would have pinched anyone right now. They were on every pitch and it seemed like they hit everything hard and out of the ballpark.

Throughout the year this will happen where a team is scorching. I hate losing but no one in baseball was going to win a series from giants this last 3 days.

Lets move on and tighten up the pen and play solid ball.

Granted that I actually was only able to watch the game the Sox won, but by the box scores it seemed the losses were more a starting pitching problem than the bullpen.

  • For the record, I would love nothing more than this team to excel this year and make the postseason.

People act like the frustrations with the Sox are coming just from a 3-4 start, but its a lot more than that.  Its a decade+ of failure bubbling over.  We were promised a world series contender by Hah

  • Yep. Gamethreads are a trip.

Not only were the Bears the worst but Blackhawks have the least points. Super city suckage.

at least the Bears MAYBE have a future star QB if they can only manage to keep him healthy/protected

Except they were very flat the previous series against the Yankees in NYC...

People act like the frustrations with the Sox are coming just from a 3-4 start, but its a lot more than that.  Its a decade+ of failure bubbling over.  We were promised a world series contender by Hahn and instead we got bubkis.  ONE postseason win.  And lets be honest, even if the Sox somehow made the postseason, this isn't a world series contender.  They're not even in the same universe as the contenders.  This is the same bad team that we watched last year and the front office made no real effort to improve.  Can't blame anyone for feeling negative out of the gate this year.  Its a lot more than a 3-4 start.

Two wins lol.  One against A's with Giolito then the Leury GS game against Houston.

True.  Better not forget them because who knows when the next will be.

Bingo. Even when they lucked into the post season they were extremely outmatched and outplayed in the first round.

Sox won 93 games in 21 and would have made the playoffs in 2020 even without the expanded playoffs. So they didn’t really “luck into” anything. They did, however, get outclassed in the short playoffs series’.

Unfortunately, even though they are tied for the least points they lose the tie breakers with the two other teams and are in third. Which means they have a good chance at missing out on the 4 "franchise altering" players.
