I thought Velasquez was gonna nohit the Sox just because that's something that would totally happen with this team. Glad I was wrong.

  • You seem to keep insinuating in your posts that LaRussa was not a problem.  He clearly was.  Not the whole problem, but a pretty damn big one.

  • I'm still happy we did the Grandal deal...we targeted the top choice at a position and spent the money.

  • A single tear descends down Yaz's face as he remembers the shift can no longer hurt him.

That was the best possible outcome

Robert gets such incredible jumps every single time. His first step is *always* in the right direction.

I like having that guy in center

Why is the infield in leading 5-1???

it'd be nice if we didn't try to single handedly revive mccutchens career

Reynolds leading majors in homers and ribbies ... can get an absolute haul for him.

Stolen base parade.

They should know they can run on Yaz all day

McCutchen looks like he turned the clock back 10 years in this series

Man yasmani can't throw anybody out

Dammit. Cannot hold 5-1 leads?

Clevinger losing focus with McCutcheon on base.

Just get the last out.

I love Pantera but I would not say always. Yesterday was a good example - first step backwards and the ball dropped between him and TA. But I love him in center field.

Yup, that feels about right to me.  Still think we get to him eventually.

Just checked the score...did we indeed get to him 2nd time through the lineup? ?

Lucky cause that pit h sucked

Fortunate to get out of that inning...

Strike? Lol take that

Cardinals' SS now pitching?

Dutch national team guy?

Luis Robert continuing to pick up the pace on both sides of the ball...

That strike call on Luis was ridiculous. Again.

But he hits a double down the line to numb the pain.

Andrus now at .152 and stuck in quicksand...Moncada coming back down to earth now.

Colas is the real deal.  And for those of you who had him ranked Number 2 on our Top Prospect List, you were wrong.

Benintendi and Robert need to be flipped 2/3.  Just not enough hard contact from Andrew to stick as a #3 hitter.

Colson Montgomery is a shortstop who put up a .400 OBP in the minors last year! There's no shame in being ranked 2nd behind him.

A little more patience batting behind TA wouldn't be so bad either.
