What if Hawk Harrelson were still broadcasting for this game?

Featured Replies

I would pay a small fortune to hear his commentary for this game, and what has transpired before.

Dead silence with a few "you gotta be bleepin' me"'s scattered in there.  Throwback to my fav:

Oh man I'd love to listen to that!!

If Hawk was announcing, it would at least give us a reason to watch this train wreck

This team’s effort would kill him.

I mean, we’ve seen Hawk announce bad baseball. 2013, 2015-2016. He tries to have fun when he can but with things this bad he’d give a sigh and they’d try to divert into some stories or something to fill the air.

My guess?

He'd go on a rant about not being able to tell long stories about Yaz because of the pitch clock and how it's ruining the game.

Hawk would've been silent since last Friday night.

He woulda had a coronary during the home opener.  We should be glad for his sake he’s no longer in the booth.

I love Hawk but circa 2015 his brain broke. Honestly if he was watching this year's team he probably would have called someone a c_nt and ruined any legacy he had.

That just happened yesterday. The "victim" is the wife of a VP within the MLB office, so the offending reporter was shitcanned by ESPN.

Assuming she didn't speak English as well... lol.   It's amazing how frequently puta and maricon were thrown around in the 90s around professional beisbol players.

Now a death/career sentence.

Well, he would have gotten his wish of literally dying in the booth then.
