I know the Sox have been in a black hole here, but if this means what I think it means, then we are truly done.

I'm sure the company line will be that Robert has "tired legs"

Can we please get some runs so we don’t blow this?

What happened to Robert? Laziness or an injury?

Benched for laziness

This will be forever known as the Revenge of the Salad with Unhealthy Amounts of Dressing Game.

In 229 games... if he could actually stay healthy, which would average out to 11.6 / 2 full years or 5.8 per season.

Alas.  Not going to ever happen with the White Sox at least.

Trout missed 42 games last year with a rare back condition, costovertebral dysfunction, and still beats that prorated pie in the sky number during his age 30 season.

How much of Robert's WAR is inflated with cutting off teammate routine RF/LF flyballs?

When I used to coach, I used to see the opposing team - if they were winning - hitting a first batter double as an opportunity. They’re already winning , they have the momentum.
but if we can hold them, and they don’t score…that lead off double isn’t an opportunity for them to score, it’s an opportunity for us to get the momentum back.
If that makes sense.

That’s a big, big run.

Tell us about band camp!

Ironically, Lance Lynn is potentially ruining the Nisei Lounge's $1 Old Style Special tomorrow if the Sox lose 10 in a row.

Your mom did stuff with the bat’s fat end around the campfire while we ate s’mores.

Nine more outs to go!

Game thread at four pages. Sounds about right.

Meh, though still up two.

You can't throw the ball to the same spot 3 times against a guy like Wander.

Uh oh.   At least it wasn't a cheapie.

It's based on expected plays made mostly and Robert really had a below average season last year when he was at 75-80% for most of the year.

0-2 count... at least the fans are happy with their hockey jerseys.

Lynn getting chippy with Arozarena after all his shenanigans this series.

How dare he allow a hit

Lynn still at a 6.34 era despite tonight's effort...

Such a White Sox play

Uh oh

Gave up two extra bases on that play lol.

What was that flip of the ball down the 3B line at the end?

Dumb dumb dumb.

Hahahhahahahaha

is sheets gonna get benched for absolutely misplaying that ball?

is Lynn going to for flipping it lackadaisically?
