Haseley helps win last game in a number of ways....Sheets starts very next game.  And Grifol is good because???

  • Sorry, I'd rather watch Oscar Colas play on a loser team every day of the week, than Billy Hamilton. This organization really has no grasp on logic or reality. Billy Hamilton...really?

I think giving a homer up to Nick Gordon should be an instant DFA

Good AB tim

Way to battle up there TA

Great at bat TA

Now it's time to steal

There's just zero juice in Benetendi's swing.

Everything is weak contact, just hoping for a single.

Eventually team needs to start running

dear lord its like benintendi tried to hit that to the second baseman

Ok, Santos. Do your thing.

Good thing they didn't just sign Gallo or Bellinger for significantly less $

Worst case with Bellinger, you're only out that $18.5 million or whatever.

Best case is that you can trade him for a good return at the deadline or extend him on a team-friendly deal...although that's not going to be an easy one for the Sox to pull off.

Are you trying to say teams won't be lining up to trade for a guy owed 60 million, and rocking a 650 OPS?

We have such week minded pitchers. No hitter gets blown up and proceeds so throw 8 consecutive pitches nowhere close to the zone

Santos being better than all of the relievers they've invested premium resources in (Hendriks aside) is quite something

In honor of dog day

Well, I've written only about 100 or so times about Bellinger in different ways...obviously he's one of the two White Sox players of the game so far, by virtue of saving a Correa homer (and implicitly saving Eloy, who somehow would have ended up injured on that type of jump.)

Not quite as bad as the Lynn post no-hitter implosion.  Progress of sorts?
