25-30 would be an absolute miracle and honestly would probably signal the season isn't over.

  • Look at the idiots who are hiring these guys

  • He certainly looked like he was swinging with his eyes closed yesterday.

Holy s%*# that loop in Vaughn's load mechanism. That wasn't there two years ago.

Vaughn really should be sent down when Eloy comes up

Vaughn is awesome.

This bum ass offense rode the coattails of the good pitching the past few series. The lineup continues to be junk.

Drafting was so awesome, wasn’t it

Watching this team of hot garbage feels different when you think about JR'S sports management philosophy. Just a waste of time.

Vaughn now a whopping 38 OPS points ahead of Benintendi.....he of the no power Benintendi's....

Second inning for Crochet.

It takes a special kind of incompetence to draft top 5 in back to back years and manage to dig up two below replacement level players.

Crazy we have a 1-2 punch with no homers and it’s almost June, a number 4 hitter that hasn’t homered since the first week, and then minimal power at a few other spots.

team hasn't really looked good offensively for 2 weeks.

a couple big hits sprinkled in with nothing.

same ol same ol.... don't take walks.. don't swing at strikes.

Especially when they were supposedly as maxed out as possible and able to contribute quickly.

Robert and Burger cooling off a bit has exposed how bad the others have been.

Why the hell is Crochet still in ?

10 (TEN) walks now given up, to the powerhouse Detroit Tigers.

Who did we miss out on in the 2019 draft? Anthony Volpe?

Nice to see Crochet take a second inning. That said, issues vs. LHS has so far worsened with Abreu gone, and Benintendi isn't helping much as they are fifth from last vs. RHP. Perhaps an actual hitter and RF like Conforto would have helped far better than Flea.

Let's face it, a RH playoff rotation of Faedo, Gaddis, Hunter Brown and JP France likely beats the Sox 3 of 4. Sadly, they will be facing much tougher RHS if they make the playoffs.

  • 2023 Batters vs. RHP 26th .682  and LHP 16th .736 OPS
  • 2022 Batters vs. RHP 18th .698 and LHP 7th .767 OPS
  • 2021 Batters vs. RHP 7th .758  and LHP 6th .775 OPS
  • 2020 Batters vs. RHP 8th .779 and LHP 2nd .887 OPS

Crochet is one of the worst fielding pitchers imaginable.

41 pitches for Crochet...hah, man oh man, this coaching staff, and this team.

P.S. - Walk #11

Jesus, the idea that Crochet didn't get some time in AAA working on his control is inexplicable

2nd inning for Crochet is fine, but you have to have some pitch goal in mind there...maybe I'm wrong.

Volpe, Corbin Carroll, Riley Greene, Josh Jung

Hahn drafted two legitimate MLB starters over ten drafts, let one go with zero compensation. Let's see what if anything, he gets for the other.

Rick Hahn (2013-2022)

  • 17.6 T. Anderson (1 2013) - Starting SS 2023.
  • 16.7 C. Rodon (1 2014) - 11.2 with the White Sox through 2021. Hahn declined QO.
  • 3.8 A. Bummer (19 2014) - Set up reliever 2023.
  • 3.1 A. Engel (19 2013) - Reserve OF post tanking. Released 2022. San Diego 2023.
  • 2.3 N. Madrigal (1 2018) - 0.6 after 83 games, Traded for Kimbrel.
  • 1.6 A. Vaughn (1 2020) - Starting 1B 2023.
  • 1.4 C. Heuer (6 2018) - Traded for Kimbrel 0.0. 0.8 post trade with 2021 Cubs.
  • 1.2 J. Burger (1 2017) - Possible starting DH effective May 2023.
  • 1.2 D. Mendick (22 2015) - Reserve INF, Mets AAA in 2023. Released 2022.
  • 1.0 I. Hamilton (11 2016) - Waived 2020, claimed by Seattle.

Also, let me reiterate, we've managed 0 walks, 3 hits (2 singles), and 10 strikeouts, against Detroit pitching.
