Old Sox Drawer: 2023 Edition

Recommended Posts

Probably why the Sox did not qualify him. But I'm glad he got his money after the 1 year in San Francisco. Hope he can live a normal life post baseball.

Oof. He also may have been injured again covering first for a play, he was pulled after trainers came out.

IIRC Cueto was terrible in his AAA starts with the White Sox last April also.

Both Madrigal and Tatis had big hits yesterday.

Machado Soto Bogaerts failed to drive in from 2nd/3rd with zero then one out to tie... still not getting enough clutch hitting for such an expensive payroll.

Might see Ian Hamilton again today... 7-7 tie in Tampa after the Yankees lead 6-0.

Ian Hamilton just recorded his first career save. He and Jimmy Cordero have been lights out in the Yankees pen this year.

Loved Ian Hamilton as a prospect, but he may be the one Sox player unluckier than Eloy.

Dylan Covey thrust into Dodgers/Twins game early after Dustin May pulled after just one inning.

May with right elbow pain two years after TJS.  86 mph curveball today.

Turner with that tying homer reminiscent of the WBC…was already getting booed at home, lol.

Phillies had trailed 5-0.  Were down to final out in bottom of the 9th.

Then Ruiz pitched the 10th and got crushed even further.
