I don't care if an infield popup gets caught in a sudden whirl wind for a HR if it means winning. Crunch time came and they gave up one run over three and a third innings. If the bullpen came in the sixth inning of a one run game and giving up one run over the span results in the loss of the lead, the offense blew it not the bullpen. Any bullpen is going to blow one run leads if they have to protect it inning after inning over and over again. Nah there were 2 outs and the runner was very fast . Even if he was on 2nd he would have scored easy on a blooper. The only way he might not have scored would be on a rocket single right at an OF with a strong arm and the Sox don't have many of those. That is why the OBP% is so important. The Sox are last in walks and other ways to get on base. The are last in OBP at .292.
