He needs to be shut down for the season, either get surgery or condition over the next 6 months before spring training so he can salvage a future contract and the Sox can salvage prospects at the July 2024 deadline.

Was talking to a hitting coach the other day and he said that Colas doesn’t keep his bat in the hitting zone long enough.  It’s so true when you watch him.
