f*** it, my 2022-2023 game thread record is trash regardless at this point, and I'm listening to the game. Hoping Kopech has command and keep this nearly as bad lineup limited to say 3-4 runs.

Sox are about a pick unless you have access to decent Vegas lines (Wynn and a few others).  The total is 12, not because of the offenses but because of the location and horrendous bullpens. I better not see Sheets wear a glove this weekend beyond 1B.

The Sox have two players above .700 OPS in the lineup, the Rockies with five.

On the good news front, it's nice to hear DJ back after a week off due to his hip replacement surgery.

  • One of the worst losses of the season, maybe the worst. A terrible team annihilates the Sox who muster four hits. What a joke of a team, organization. Remains one of the worst seasons in all our lifet

  • Love him or hate him, I think Don Cooper was a better pitching coach than Katz has ever been.

  • People around here couldn't wait to ship off a guy who busted his ass and hit for power because he's just another Palka or some such s%*#.

Sosa in the lineup batting 9th.

Potential for two Lambert's in the game.

Battle for third overall draft pick in 2024 with the Sox two games behind or ahead depending on perspective.

It should also be noted that Torkelson now just trails Vaughn 740 to 739 in OPS...which means Torkelson has been on a relatively tear to get there from the 600s.

Riley Greene mid 800s and Carpenter at 862.

White Sox with only Vaughn and Robert in that +700 ops category.

I hope they don't get a top 6 pick next year based on the fact they would be precluded from having one in 2025, and the fact the draft class is not suspected to be as strong as 2025.

Teams that pay revenue sharing may not receive a lottery pick (i.e. top six) more than one year in a row.

Way to start the game! Home run #100 for Elvis, went 439 feet per Len.

So pretty much four players who actually should be in the 2024 starting lineup.

And Andrus putting Anderson/Benintendi/Lenyn on notice lol.

100 career homers.

2024 contract guaranteed.

Well Pedro, I admit my mistake.

Elvis will lead us to the 2025 World Series.

That will shift a lot though.

Look where Andrus Jones' son is right now.

If they're rushing the rebuild...might as well have the high pick next year...especially if it's a collegiate hitter.

Only eight more months of Moncada...or less.

Might need four new starting pitchers next season.

A lead off walk from Kopech. Shocking.

Should have started Lambert.

WTF is this sh!t? Why aren’t they playing Anderson? We need to lose for lottery odds

Kopech is so freaking bad.

I'm out of town, still throwing 92-94 with no control?

Assuming Clevinger opts out Jesse Scholtens is very possibly their #2 starter.

Yep

And a simply awful slider.  He needs to change teams, the Sox haven’t developed him one bit

He might not last two innings

Katz should be so embarrassed what he turned an elite arm into.

Omg, this is so pathetic.  See ya Michael

Maybe Kopech can be converted to an elite defensive outfielder.

Definitely competing next season. ?

Kopech has the same look on his face as Ryan Gosling when they first offered him the Ken role...

It’s simply amazing how much the Sale returned has flopped

Brett Honeywell warming up in the bullpen.

There is a delay on the radio broadcast, they are behind Gameday which I haven't experienced before.
