Robert is flirting with a 40/80 season.  40 HRs and 80 RBIs.  Would be by far the lowest ever for a 40 HR season ( i believe Bonds had a 40/90).  Speaks about the ineptitude surrounding him on this lineup.

Not sure why Grandal is still playing.  His bat has absolutely disappeared

Dylan Cease too valuable to risk injury.

Trayce Thompson (.619), Gavin Sheets (.647) and Zach Remillard (.640) the other options.

Grandal is finally an elite option for the White Sox. :)

Also, five teams within one game for the final 2 NL Wild Card spots…

Must be nice to root for

Meanwhile these clowns are around 20 games out in a division where the leader is slightly above .500

Lineup the last time the White Sox were 27 games under .500.

Please note the Sox had all but two players at the end of the game under with an under .700 OPS. Tonight they only had two over .700.

Ryan LaMarre, who I never heard of until this post, had the lone extra base hit (Double) for the White Sox. Despite this accomplishment, Ryan was pinch hit for my Nicky Delmonico.

The only thing worse than September games that don't matter are August games that don't matter.

I am switching my allegiance for there stop this season to Jake Burger and the Marlins.  Burger was 4-7 in the Marlins- Dodgers DH today, even though they lost.  There was no need to trade Burger.  Team control thru 2028, one of the top HR in MLB, one of the most popular players on the Sox team who was coming around.  Hahn pissed me off once again.

TA leading off for most of the season is an important negative factor.  Grifol second reason, doubling down on TA leading off.

Jose Rondon with the .818 OPS, shocked Hahn did not extend him w/ a 10 year deal after that performance.

Always remember hearing a draft expert say he heard he really struggled against top college pitching.  And yes, the metal bat is a huge thing with him. A lot of his opposite field power he had in college in gone.

I remember some shots to RF in previous seasons. Few and far between now.

Kenny pissed you off. The Marlins went straight to Kenny.

Know who pissed you off*

*Eventually it is everyone in the franchise for one hundred years.
