  • Maybe just maybe it will cause them to slow him down a bit.  Pushing him as hard as they are is insane and everyone knows it.

Pedro would be 50 under .500 with a loss today. I know it's cosmetic,  but can you at least fire him for ineptness?

No way Reinsdorf eats that big of a contract.

Pull him.

Mechanics are falling apart.  Every pitch ending up way high.

That should be his last inning.

Will get through it...seemingly.

Why do they keep saying today is the first 1pm start of the season?

Crowded leaderboard at Augusta but Woods is done...23 holes in one day too much for him physically at this point.

Great play in RCF from Fairchild.

Sosa not running is inexcusable

It hit him so he was out.  The umpire has such a tight zone today, how are you swinging at something that hirs you.

I don’t care that this is a rebuild and it was expected to be a losing season.  Any GM who builds a lineup this historically bad should be out after their first year.

Won't a work.  If everything is straight or going in to righites its a recipe for disaster vs good right handed hitting teams

All SP, not just Crochet, really need a change, splitter, or two seam to ride away from opposite handed pitchers

I tend to agree and I thought he was throwing a change up a little bit but he's barely throwing it and it's been crushed when he has.

What would a wasted year look like?

Winless apparently.

Setting the all time record for losses in a season and turning around and seeing 14 other teams pick before us ?

I actually would like to see Garcia as a SP over Flexen

This new announcer making a big deal out of throwing over to first for the second time with a full count and 2 out shows he is not really a baseball guy.

s%*#, still way too many.  With the lottery rules you really have to go for it after a terrible season.

Not do what whatever this crap is

No argument here. Being labelling as a big market team, despite having (I’m guessing) ~35% of the Chicago market hurts us. If not for that label we wouldn’t be limited to picks 11-30.

At this point does the Sox even have 5% lmao

Its a sad day, when the Oakland A's are more entertaining than this

They've been rebuilding since 2008.

If I'm a dad within a 500 mile radius of Chicago I'm raising my son as anything but a Sox fan. f*** this franchise.

This might be the most boring team ever assembled

It doesn't help that Getz is shopping from the leftover bin at the dollar store but these guys all suck

My son keeps asking if “so and so” is the best hitter on the team and I have tell him there isn’t one ?

.661 is second highest OPS in the lineup
