He is only good when he can top out in triple digits. 96-97 won't cut it for him.

And it’s not shocking that starting would cause his fastball to suffer.  Anyone who saw him pitch since his second year here knew this was coming.

We're getting to the point where it's going to be less embarrassing wearing a MAGA hat in public over a Sox hat.

It’s almost like the fact he’s only averaged like 30 IP per year the last 6 year DOES matter.

Next time you’re attempting to make a reliever into a starter, don’t have him go all out with no regards his first few starts.  I’m sure the injury is coming soon.

The first two starts he made he was sitting at 98 and topping at 100 and that worked. Lost 1-2 mph and suddenly became a gascan.

Fastball is too hittable. Dude needs to be a reliever. At least the Sox can get something for him.

Wasn't his third start on short rest or something insane because they didn't have a fifth starter?

The Sox haven't won a game yet when they didn't score first. Flush ir, reflect and learn. This mid lower end pocket is tough.

No. Pretty sure they added a bullpen game or had a rainout.

IIRC he got full rest for all of them.

They’re about to be 3-21 and no changes have been made. It’s so crazy

Kevin Pillar is unironically our best outfielder.

Reflect TO learn*

I am glad I asked!

Yep

Yep

But they could have given him extra rest

Woooo

Lee is going to be a nice fucking player.

Anyways everyone already knows this but Korey should be playing no fewer than half the games at catcher, at worst, but should be playing at least 2/3 of the games

And Korey Lee is undeniably our best catcher right now.

Nah see he's got all of these invisible innings that no one saw, he's fine.

El Caballo!

He may be great or he may be awful, but catchers tend to take a little time. He looks like a major league player at the moment.

Korey Lee has as many HR as Maldonado hits. After almost a month.

Love that Stone is like "this is why the Sox were enamored with him."

I wonder who was enamored with him Steve. Say it.
