What's the point?

Featured Replies

Of this entire season?

Not a bunch of ripe and talented young players to be developed - just a bunch of JAGS.

Draft order?

Is that the point? Doesn't seem as important in baseball.

I don't feel sorry for one player on the team.

They should all be relegated for being a total fucking embarrassment.

Keep Crochet healthy and trade him

Keep Robert healthy and trade him

Keep Fedde healthy and trade him

see if Sosa or Colas or Lee or Julks can contribute going forward

That’s about it, this is absolute hell.  They will easily lose 100 again next year.

Keep Kopech healthy and trade him to some unsuspecting team thinking he can actually pitch in high leverage situations just cuz he throw ball hard.

Said it last year, said it this year, and will say it again next year:

None of this matters until JR dies. We’re stuck in baseball purgatory. No one wants to accept it, it’s a simple answer with no nuance, but it’s not a subjective opinion at this point. Until he dies, it’s just the same old song and dance. And sure maybe they get out of this free fall in a couple of years, but they’ll never be a true contender under Jerry. He has no interest in making that effort, internally they are SO FAR behind other franchises that actually invest in player development and technology…it’s all just a waste of time until new ownership arrives.

Ding ding ding

There is no point. Nothing matters until JR is gone.

Right. What is the point? Okay, so fire Grifol. Who is going to fire JR? The organization is a joke from top to bottom. And I don't care what is happening in the farm system.

To break the all time losses record for a season(well at least since the 1900’s)!

Is it a bad time to remind us that no matter how lousy they are this year they cannot draft higher than #10 next year?

I’m not convinced Jerry’s death will solve the problems as long as Jerry’s spawn carry forward his genes. It’s worth a try though.

Not good if the “insiders” start suggesting  Nashville is a legit option

Who's the insider ? I know you put it in quotes but you did say insider and to me that means an employee of the team.

R H?  That must be Rick Hahn’s burner account right?

Think "insider" is someone who knows someone employed by the team that hears things. At least, I think that is how I (and many others) take it.

That isn't really insider information, that is their feelings.  Big difference.

Or someone who says they know someone who turns out to be a beer vendor.
