June 6, 20242 yr This would be the funniest thing in this terrible baseball year. And maybe getting Maldonado to the game would force MLB to change the way all stars are selected.

June 6, 20242 yr This would be a great way to mock the team. I support it 100%. 2024 All Star Martin Maldonado. Because character matters.
June 6, 20242 yr I dunno, not really a fan of embarrassing the guy on national tv in front of the world because he can’t hit and his manager thinks he should play. Funny in theory, mean spirited in action.

The Sox weren’t forced to sign him and Pedro certainly isn’t forced to play him. But hey, see it through. Vote him in and let’s all laugh at and embarrass a guy who shouldn’t be in the majors but the worst team in the league decided to employ

I'd also argue that by not taking his fitness seriously, he embarrasses himself more than anyone else could. Edited June 6, 20242 yr by Paulie4Pres
June 6, 20242 yr Is it mean-spirited? Yes. But there’s very little a frustrated and neglected fanbase can do on a national level to draw attention to such shitty ownership/management to embarrass them. I support this, but there’s no way I’m wasting my own time voting.

I guess he found it.
