If Getz hasn’t told Grifol to wise the fvck up, he is culpable too. Other than the mediocre return we will get for most of our positional players, why would you not want to see what younger players like Colas can do in a wasted season to plan for the future? Also, have you looked at Pham’s stats lately? He isn’t returning jack squat, just like Sheets, whom you have been hyping up recently due to all of the 1B-needy teams. Robert has been terrible. Then say you have to get looks at him in various roles only to send him down the very next day. Succeeding in Major League Baseball is hard enough when the team is doing everything in its power to help you succeed. It’s damn near impossible when your handled like the Sox have handled Colas.
