February 6, 20251 yr Jack Lausch is absolutely worth seeing. He would've been a top 3 round pick out of HS but he decided to play football. He's missed 2 years but hopefully he picks it back up fast. Bennett Markinson is likely a draft. He's a R/R 1B w/fringe avg power but plus bat to ball skills. The dude does not swing and miss. HIs ceiling is very limited but someone should give him a shot because the bat to ball is outrageously good. That's about it.

Yeah there's no chance LaViolete is there at 1-10. I know it hurt the Sox this year but I like the anti-tanking rule. Spend money to win more games and it won't affect them.

Spend money to win more games and it won't affect them. I think I’d like it better with Jim Callis’ adjustment: You should have to move up/stay even to get penalized. The A’s got boned in the draft, especially in 2023, and now pick 11th. Just does not seem fair.

You have plenty of time to catch up. Yes LaViolete is in the 1-1 mix. Right now I would say it's 51 Holliday 49 LaViolete. I think the Nats are gonna take the monster upside HS hitter. I hear some have swing and miss concerns but those same people had swing and miss concerns about Bobby Witt Jr if you can believe it. I just think the upside with Holliday is too great to pass up especially if he can stay on the dirt which I think he will. This is going to be a fun spring because there are a number of HS and college hitters to follow. No kidding. This place is a fucking dumpster fire.
