5 hours ago5 hr My rose colored glasses have now become less rosey. Kerr is stepping down as GSW head coach too. Wonder if he would rather coach again or go to a front office gig again. Either way I think he'd be my top choice.....Kerr as head executive/GM and Luke Walton as HC....or maybeeee Kerrs kid but that could get dicey.

Billy is such a good person, he thought more of the Bulls than himself so he walked away, but last week it was ownership wanted him, and anyone who didn't wasn't right for the job. The team will never have a long run again unless they get sold because good teams with long runs get paid way beyond the luxury tax threshold the Reinsdorfs avoid, even with the best attendance in the league. Quality work there Bulls.I think they always knew this was going to happen - but there is a level of respect for Billy D that they wanted to do it that way. Even Reinsdorf's quotes that came out a day or two later kind of implied that. And I think Billy even said he appreciated it because of how it showed that the respect was mutual. But ultimately - I think even Cowley mentioned it, the Bulls expected this to happen all along but I do think they were hoping he would step into the president role (and believe they offered it to him).
2 hours ago2 hr In fairness to Lloyd - he is a pretty good candidate and the overall list they are looking at is deep and thorough. We also don't know who else is on the list. Don't want to give them the benefit of the doubt though - as they haven't earned that.
