Agree but probably based on saving to pay 2 managers in the same half-season.

How about Richie Daley for interim manager? He’s not busy.

Whoever the interim would be is already being paid, so its not like it costs JR any extra money

They would need to replace whoever is promoted.

Obviously it should be me.

I see WBWSF has created a second account for the coaching side

I hope we're not jinxing things here.  I feel like if he was getting fired before this weekend, it would have happened by now.

Raffle it off to a fan. And watch them do a better job.

Andy the clown works for me.

Always hiring from within on high-level/FO/decision-making roles can easily cause secret rooting for failure to permeate throughout an organization.

“If we don’t make this work, I’m next up to be in charge,” has a much different effect than “if we don’t make this work, I might be gone too.”

anyone else see this thinking it was a follow up to news of grifol firing? Sigh.

Grady Sizemore.  Players will play loose the rest of the way.

Players don't want anything to do with Grifol anymore and it has be obvious for a while.

Pretty sure it’s not Grifol.

Pretty sure that players don’t want anything to do with the White Sox, not just with Pedro

I think this is the truth of things with the Sox now.

How many Sox players do you think were VERY disappointed not be be traded at the deadline. I would guess it's, at least, five or six.

Remember when Ted Turner took over for a day.  Somebody tell Jerry.

Just let Ozzie do it.  Might be moderately entertaining at least.

I'm telling you. It can be a reality show / documentary / mockumentary. The Front Office, focused around low-level ticket sales office workers, with an occasional glimpse into the actual on-field product like 30 Rock.
