I am OK with Katz.  When it comes to pitching, by and large the pitching staff has been as expected, or better in many cases.  Getting what they got out of Fedde and Crochet is a HUGE plus.

We do have a historically bad bullpen. Granted basically 0 yo work with there. The starters he's done an excellent job with really.

If there had just been some proof Pedro had no business managing an MLB team before this season started......

 

I'd honestly be fine with Grady as the manager moving forward.  Would definitely prefer him to an insular white sox hire.

The problem in the bullpen was the guys in the bullpen for the most part.

Brebbia has been a bust for some reason, true.

Wilson has been hurt all year from reports.

Kopech has refused coaching.

Tanner Banks was outstanding.

The rest of the pen has been exactly who they have always been.  On the whole, a couple of guys up, a couple of guys down, and the rest exactly what you would have projected equals OK with me.  If you put hot garbage into a bullpen, getting a dumpster fire of results is hard to hold against the pitching coach.

 

 

I think its pretty telling that not only did they rid themselves of Pedro, they got rid of all his boys too.

Brebbia's peripherals are at least good. Seems like he's mostly been unlucky.
