Sheets getting any playing time with Colas in the minors is ridiculous at this point.  Getz is a moron.

Sheets is a DFA candidate.  Colas may be a bust but we don’t know for sure yet.  And what position has been an absolute black hole for the Sox for years?  Right field.  This is roster mismanagement.

AJ just said that the plan is for Vargas to be the 3B the rest of the way.  I guess the Sox are keeping Montgomery at SS?

Right now Colas is struggling in AAA. DeLoach is actually swinging it better of the two.

Senzel is on the bench but for some reason Sizemore chose to play Sheets.

Colás was hitting well in the majors in a very small sample size before they sent him back down.  Getz has also called up guys who were performing far worse than Colás in the minors, Ramos for one.

Colas and DeLoach both have around a .750 OPS in Charlotte.

Regardless, the Sox are going for the worst record in history and Colas is turning 26 soon so it’s time to find out if he can make it.

Giving at bats to Sheets is a waste.  He’s a 1B/DH that can’t hit or defend and has overrated power.

Good point.  If Senzel ever has to play, it should be against a lefty.
