What about bringing the top 5-6 FA's in together and make a proposal to be the 2025 face of the White Sox...at least competitive and a contender if we get lightning in a bottle? Because almost all the damage those guys are going to to do in the future will be done at age 30 or later...it's like taking on the Tua, Daniel Jones and Trevor Lawrence contracts simultaneously and then trying to fill out a cheap roster around them. We were in this same exact position from 2013-2016 with Sale Q Eaton and Abreu. It might "win an off season" or even sell some tickets...once...but the fans have seen this same old bait and switch now too many times to count. They're not going to blindly support a rebuild again unless you prove something to the fans first. The Sox have pretty much laid down a consistent track record now of being scared to death of committing to any long/er term deal because of how badly they've been burned with both internal extensions and external FAs. Right now...the Fedde deal feels like almost wild spending.

The signing team loses a specific pick, and the losing team picks up a pick based on their qualifiers.
