Moniak got released. I’d take over Jankowski.

Former #1 overall pick, younger than Fletcher, about same age as Colas and DeLoach. Just glancing at his stats, he's a better CF than RF which is cool for when/if they trade Robert.

He's more interesting than those 3 + Jankowski.

Moniak and Jankowski are basically the same player impact-wise, and that's only due to Moniak's outlier 2023. They're both bad, and neither one would have any substantial impact on this team.

I think you mean Fletcher too?

For those expecting Montgomery to fly up to the big leagues...he would have to get promoted four separate times in all likelihood.

Robert pretty sure jumped three in one year...

Looking to build up their confidence.

Winston Salem a huge jump for the high schoolers especially, like Wolkow.

I don’t think anyone except one person is expecting him this year.

I don’t anticipate Montgomery & McLain being at Low A very long…agree it’s just about allowing them to get their feet wet in a low stress environment before early season promotions to High A.

I am pretty shocked that Braden Montgomery and McLain are starting in Kanny. That line up is gonna put some points on the board. W-S is a little bit of a prospect desert with Smith and Taylor starting in Birmingham. Outfield must be Saucke, Zavala, and Hogan? Caden Connor?

Neither has a professional at-bat correct?  I’m guessing they will be very short lived assignments.  Otherwise, I don’t feel like Saucke should be ahead of either of them.

Hey, what do you think of Makarewicz, Miller-Green and TJ McCants? Are they all just depth, or any hitters without real positions? McCants seems to have a 4th OF ceiling.

If Montgomery simply tore up short season it might be a different story...but they will be a bit conservative coming off that ankle injury and long layoff.

Pretty rare for collegians to skip Low A and short season entirely.

Makarewicz looked pretty good at Kanny last year, but he's really old for the level and I don't think he sticks at 3b. I wonder if he makes it to W-S or mans 1b at Kanny. Miller-Green is a great story but he's very old and did not hit. I may have a better path as a relief arm. I barely saw McCants play, but I doubt he's gonna get too many ABs considering who's in Kanny's OF. I see them having a bunch of significant prospects including Bonemer, Wolkow, Braden Montgomery, McLain, Mogollon, and Ronny Hernandez. They'll probably also get Arxy Hernandez. That team is gonna mash.
