Well it certainly mattered to Konnor Griffin. He discouraged at least two teams from picking him, saying he would honor his college commitment in order to slide to Pitt at 9.

I don’t disagree at all, but if GT went to Omaha and Lackey continued to hit the ball to the moon, it would have only helped his stock.
