  • I really wanted a game like this.

It’s refreshing to see a GM who actually values plate discipline, good swing decisions, and high OBP’s.  That’s the one common theme of the majority of the prospects Chris has acquired.  And while we

  • Wow, the Sox have outscored the Padres this pre-season. If I was a Padres fan, I'd be very concerned. And depressed.

In relief, yeah. Good to see though

Well I know it is only Spring Training but if you had said the score would be 10-0 in the 3rd, you wouldn't have thought it would be the White Sox with 10!

Has Sosa turned a corner? Would be great to actually have someone live up to expectation.

Was he throwing that hard in his last start?

If Smith can even be a multi-inning reliever as a Rule 5 guy, it’s a huge win. I’m encouraged by Leasure and I think Pallette is fairly close. I think once they sort through some of the garbage they have in camp, they’ll have some decent options for the pen.

I think so. Thus far in ST, a few players have caught my attention...Lenyn Sosa, Teel,  Drury  and a few others (Colson before his back issues). As someone pointed out earlier today, the WSox need home runs desperately if they are going to win many games.

He came on pretty good the last month of 2024.

Teel has caught my eye as well. His receiving looks tremendous. I look forward to seeing more.

Lenyn had some pretty rotten batted ball luck last year and has been looking hitterish for a while now. I thought his play last season earned him a spot on the '25 squad but it seems like he's making his case in the spring too. Not sure where he'll play but we have 3 infield spots unaccounted for...just stick him in one and call it a day.

The offense has arrived!!!

Even Sosa’s outs look hitterish.

Smith is the next Crochet...for one spring day at least.

This is all due to Ishbia buying up all the minority shares...so all the young hitters are playing for "Moncada extensions."

Mariners' announcers speculating the White Sox are the one team that might be able to blow a 10-0 lead lol...

Well this inning looks more familiar.

Nastrini...haha.  Pop ups that should be way into the stands are blowing back in or out of the stadium.

Trade Robert now...10-1 now on the dp.

Sox defense is in mid-season form.

Now they want rbi's for GiDP because the run scored...what if it was 2-2 game in the 8th, that run is still valuable and a K doesn't plate a run.

Impressive day for Meidroth 1 2b, 3bb

Meidroth with 3 walks and a double. That will do.

Hey...we're now exactly even with the Dodgers for RS/RS.

Yay!!!

WS bets still available for both teams.

Oops.  We are ahead by one now.

Sox ticket office hours are being extended today to 6 p.m. according to Boyer.

Pallette’s stuff wasn’t overwhelming, as I didn’t see him pitch last year. Doesn’t mean he can’t be a late inning contributor though.

93-95 pretty pedestrian these days for even a middle reliever...that's why Smith being available through Rule 5 was at least intriguing.

Id very much like to see him near the top of the lineup this season.

Nick McClain is in the game, that is mildly shocking to me. I wonder if this a reward for having a good camp on the minor league side. Wolkow in there too. Hope to see him get an ab.
