Sox at Guards

It goes that way for fans as well.  Another WSox World Series in my lifetime.......probably not gonna happen. I fear JR will live to be 108 and still in control

Let’s be honest, the closest feeling we’re going to have to winning a World Series in the next decade or so is if a new owner takes over this team and announces they’re staying in Chicago.

Not going anywhere with two hits. Putrid.

But yet just a few days ago a person posted that the offense wasn't the problem.

😆

I spy with my little eye a double-digit losing streak coming on (which would mark the third straight season the Sox will have had one if I remember right...)

from the Sun-Times:

Manager Will Venable didn’t seem too optimistic about a quick return for left fielder Andrew Benintendi, who exited Sunday’s game against the Tigers with a left adductor strain.

“He’s progressed a little bit, but he’s not there yet,” Venable said. “[He] Doesn’t feel as good as we thought he was, so he’s going to continue to get evaluated, and we’ll do some scans on him.”

So...let's play short handed for another four or five days before the Sox decide to put him on the IL! 😆😉

White Sox baseball: We LOVE to play shorthanded!

Can we claim Jankowski off waivers?

10 games played, 32 total runs scored (3.2 runs per game), have scored three runs or less in seven of the 10 contests. Have scored only 13 runs in the six game losing streak.

Have played about two weeks and already they are 4.5 games out of first.

At this rate they won't even be playing meaningful games after May 1st...LOL.

Don't forget they scored 8 2 times so it's even worse in the other 8 games

When you can re-sign Clevinger twice, you have to do it.

When a team signs players like this, it is because they have no one else. They have taken tanking to new lows.

But living to 100 or beyond is no longer crazy, especially for a billionaire.  Imagine 10+ more years of this s%*#.

McCaskey made it to 102, which 8s 15 years older than Jerry.

Former White Sox winning with other teams.

You probably could have claimed a random, at least somewhat interesting DFA candidate and given him a role.

At least we can actually draft high next year.

Yeah, draft another high ceiling hard throwing lefty starter who we'll trade away for prospects at the beginning of the next rebuild that will also ultimately fail.

I can't wait for General Manager Paul Janish's press conference after reading Schultz to the Red Sox

It was nine and eight.

Ok so that's 17 runs in 2 games leaving 18 in the other 8. So about 2.3 runs

There are a billion relievers cycled through the DFA turnstyles they could have brought in.  They also could have ran out there any of our AAA failed starters, or a guy like Addison Coffey that they don't seem to have interest in, but who has had MiLB success.  There were plenty of cheap options.
