Generally,

Building a team off the waiver wire and minor league contracts because no other team will give them a major league contract, gets you more losses than you thought possible.

I get that the White Sox have to be bad. But do they really have to keep being this bad?

When your player development is among the worst in baseball and you are scared to play your own kids, this is how it works.

  • Must be nice to have no idea what you’re doing and just blame it on a “rebuild”.   This rebuild is in a worst place than when Getz took over.

  • Yes, but the unsuccessful dinglehopper was hired specifically cause there was no time to lose with a classic rebuild, then he immediately was telling people that they could compete in a woeful divisio

  • Sorry, I'm gonna keep going because the team on the field is such a walking embarrassment that Getz deserves to be roasted over a volcanic flame. Acting like he's the first GM to have their hands

1) I don't want Amaya on the team
2) I also want Palacios gone
3) Robert is doing so bad, his OPS+ is one lower than Palacios'
4) Tauchman is better than Palacios
5) I note that Maton hasn't done much of anything
6) f*** it. Start Dalbec at shortstop, just to keep Amaya off the field

Why won't he say the same things we do? I mean, we make fun of him and everything!! LOL.

"White Sox on life support offensively"

lol

Paddack has actually been at 95-97 recently.

If Twins throw in the towel on him, White Sox might bite...we sort of fixed Soroka right?

WIN A FRIGGIN GAME FOR ONCE YA WORTHLESS SACKS OF s%*#!!!

Oh yeah and :gosox1:

Win? I don't think the org is familiar with that term.

Chasing every pitch six inches outside of the strike zone wasn't working either though

Really aggressive players will take some terrible swings. It's the non competitive abs that he needed to eliminate.

The Sox have really ruined an incredibly talented player. He's the poster boy of the poor talent development of position players within this org.

If the White Sox play .500 the rest of the season, they will only lose 88 games. 6 teams did worse in 2024.

Luis Robert is officially, and very firmly, in the Moncada, TA, and Eloy category. All hope is lost.

Completely ruined

How dare you use the very words I typed against me? HOW DARE YOU!!!

is there a place that tracks successful challenge %? I feel like Venable is miles ahead of the previous moron, and the other previous moron.

Shane Smith at 95.6-97.1.

Buxton has scored 22 runs against Sox in his last 23 games against them.

I found it on baseball reference.

TLR 51.7% (15/29)

Pedro 35.8%  (19/53)

Venable 75% (3/4)

Smith gets most of his strikeouts and swinging misses on his off speed stuff.

Pretty crazy that he Vasil and Burke graduated from high school the same year...hadn't realized that.

rousing start.

My guy Sosa

Play everyday. Watch him learn.

The player development was bad under an old regime, now Getz is the GM so what happened when he wasn't GM doesn't apply to him.

Also, they have made outstanding hires inside the organization. Outstanding hires. You can already see how much different this team is than last year top to bottom.

Only the best hires.

Grifol will go down as worse than even Bevington.

Sosa 107.3 EV

416 feet

boom!   swinging first pitch on a backup breaking ball

4 home runs against Paddack in April already

Taylor now 0 for his last 14

Well, Vargas is hitting the ball harder with the higher hands. Hopefully results start soon.

STOP BUNTING

Did they bench Amaya so they wouldn't have FOUR qualified guys in bottom 6 in mlb batting average?

94.7 even    347 feet   cold grey damp day

4th major league start for Bobby at SS

double clutch   strong arm lol

Let's see him make an athletic play in the hole.

Didn't realize Buehrle stayed in Buffalo the entire time he pittched for TOR so he could stay with his pit bulls that weren't allowed into Canada...

Probably part of the reason for earlier retirement.
