he needs to miss a few more bats and stop grooving fastballs but he's def like not bad -- which as a home grown random third rounder is pretty good. If he stays healthy he looks at worst as a solid 5th starter. Maybe develops a bit and gets to a mediocre 4th. A rare Sox success story.

bad wording, not scrap heap but you don't find many positive WAR SP in the 3rd round, but for some reason the Sox seam to be decent at finding this sort of SP.
