he needs to miss a few more bats and stop grooving fastballs but he's def like not bad -- which as a home grown random third rounder is pretty good. If he stays healthy he looks at worst as a solid 5th starter. Maybe develops a bit and gets to a mediocre 4th. A rare Sox success story.

Mediocre 4th? Cmon man.

Cannon Stones

I can’t put my finger on it but Schriffen kind of sucks as a play by play guy. We were spoiled to have Benetti.

If the Sox were NL West good we probably wouldn't mind him.

Meanwhile I decided to pay more attention to the Tigers. I forgot he was there.

more nice pitching from cannon.

lol you think he's more than that? not with his stuff. he's a fine back end starter candidate on a good team tho.

That's been the story on him since he was drafted.  High floor innings eater, but mid rotation ceiling.

I think a solid mid guy. Maybe a solid 4. Stuff? What did you think of Buehrle?

Everyone with ears thought this. Benetti had HOF potential and we shat him away.

Benetti was annoying as s%*#

LMFAO so bad

After listening to some Tigers broadcasts, I wonder if the problem was Steve Stone paired with him.

He’s just low energy and when he has energy it doesn’t sound authentic. Benetti was a better pairing with Stone as he was so much more interesting and he and Stone made the broadcast exciting.

Said no serious listener, ever. You deserve the crap you get to watch now.

I feel the opposite. Really enjoyed him and Stone together, but Tigers broadcasts regularly make me cringe.

Watching on gameday....how the f*** does a double play home to 1st happen there....what in the hell did Vaughn do and/or how friggin slow is Rojas??

Right to first baseman who stepped on bag and threw home.  Out by 15 feet

He seems more professional. Less joking around
